Electronic equipment should have its own power source to avoid the possibility of power surges affecting the operation.
Stramatel equipment is charged by a trickle charge system which is designed to be left on at ALL TIMES when the equipment is not in use. This is to maintain the condition of the batteries in the control consoles.
Basketball Shot Clocks/Attack Timers are available as :-
Floor mounted
Backboard mounted (with clock as pictured)
Cable Control
Radio Control (this is by far the most popular option due to less wiring required!)
For use in games from the School Sports Hall through to a full FIBA Specification International Standard.
The new FIBA regulations for A grade International games require 4 sided shot clocks for ease of viewing from all angles! Prices available on request.
THE MINIMUM FIBA REGULATIONS STIPULATE THAT 'RED EYE' SHOTCLOCKS MUST BE USED IN COMPETITIONS.

*Synchronisation with main Stramatel scoreboard.
*This can be done if ordering a complete set of Scoreboard and Shot Clocks or if ordering individually by returning the original Control Console to be re-chipped at time of manufacture of 2nd unit(s).
The various models allow for installation either as simple floor mount unit or above and behind backboards.
Backboard units should be mounted 30 - 50 cm above and behind the backboard to conform to Basketball Regulations.
